Oh, hey! Have you missed me? I thought I'd pop in and say hi to you all. The last two months have gone by so quickly and I certainly do not know where to start.

But let me first wish you all a late Merry Christmas! I had the most wonderful time with family and friends. I am beyond spoiled and I do truly enjoy the holiday season.


Here's a quick glimpse in photos from this week. I treated myself to a Christmas mani and new rose gold ring that so perfectly matches my rose gold watch (from Target of course). I spent countless hours wrapping, poor Molly moo didn't know what to do with herself with all of the chaos. Note to self: must get her to groomers asap. And two adorable gifts that I received this year! The first, a pair of lamb slippers - to die for and a new gym bag! Ha. Fits me to a tee, of course. Shopaholic.

Well happy Friday night to you all. I'm currently sitting here, wine glass beside me enjoying some pasta salad and me time. We all deserve a little bit of that here and there, am I right?

Please tell me I am not the only one who remembers the show, The Look for Less, with Elizabeth Hasselbeck? Oh my word, I loved that show. If you're new to hearing about it basically,  a person must shop with a fashion stylist to recreate a runway outfit with a set budget (ex: $150) in under an hour. I decided to do that myself (with no outfit in mind) just Target online and a budget. And below is what I came up with and ALL for under $116! I seriously love Target..I mean what can't you get there?!

Why hello there. Happy Friday to all! I am very happy indeed. It's been an extremely productive week over here and I've got a low key weekend ahead of me. As promised, here's a little Spring action for the house! I'm really loving the use of mint in the below as it brings a sense of calm and color to the bedroom. What do you think? I am definitely a pink girl but the use of this pretty soft blue/green color has got me hooked! And how about that initial jewelry box? I wouldn't be mad if someone bought it for me. Let's catch up shall we? I really do believe we need another day after Sunday to prepare for the week ahead. I usually stay home on Sundays and try to prepare but none of the sort happened yesterday. Saturday was an errand day followed by a night out with friends. I spent Sunday as a date day. B and I went to the movies, did a little shopping and finished the day with dinner. It's hard to find a guy that will put up with my shopping habits, but I think he manages it quite well.

So here are a few of my favorite purchases from the weekend. Is it just me or do you like to have something new each week too? lol  Whether it's something like a new concealer or a necklace - something cheap or expensive - etc - I can't help myself.

So the shirt and necklaces are from Forever21, flats from Nine West, skinnies from Target and 10k gold pearls and Essie nail polish in Topless and Barefoot from Walmart.

I am a huge fan of bargain shopping and combined with coupons, gift cards and store deals - I got all of the below for about $100! I'm in LOVE.

I have a lot of black furniture in my house so I wanted to keep it consistent with the frame color. I'm not quite sure just yet where I will put this pretty little piece but I have a couple more things that I'd like to DIY too! I think DIY piece #1 was a success! What do you think?

Well hi there! I've been a pretty busy little gal these past few days. The weekend was a whirlwind and I am full swing kicking out the work week. On Tuesday, I worked remotely from Key Largo, FL. A few members of my company flew to work out some details with one of our clients. 

So I consider myself pretty low on the corporate ladder. I mean, I am only 23 years old and freshly out of college but there are some pretty neat perks being on the lower level - like for example... flying in a private plane! I mean I needed photos of the client and what better way than to just go there and take them myself, right? Well it just so happened that my company had to visit and they let me..little ol me go with them and ride shotgun in the private plane. OMG - I wanted to faint.





As for last weekend - it was pretty awesome! I went to my cousins wedding and it was simply beautiful. It was right on the river and we danced the whole night away. 

Here's a picture of me and my momma! Sorry for the sweaty face - sadly I didn't get any nice pictures. The wedding was outside and oh my was the humidity kicking! By the way, I swear I curled my hair for the wedding. It was straight as a board by nightfall! 





Anywho, I am pretty excited that tomorrow is Friday and I am ready for the weekend! It's my roomies birthday and we've got some fun things planned! 

So I am still in hopes of finding a home closer to work and with those hopes come visions and excitement. Here's a little bathroom inspiration I've had lately. I find that I usually get the best deals and score the cutest things when I am not really on the lookout for anything specific.  I usually just come upon it and buy little things here and there. I think I will begin looking for bathroom decor like the below. What do you think? And would you expect anything more than gold and cream from me? ;)

You know the saying.. "You don't need it." Well I think you do. Go for it. Get it all. Okay, kidding because if I truly just went for it all I'd be living back at my moms in a teeny tiny room consumed of all my belongings..hoarder. But there are times that I just HAVE to have it. Don't you? Well if I had my way, I'd have all of the following things below that I am just lusting to have right now. But I must have self control because rent is due and if the new apartment comes through..then that means moving and moving costs money. Ah. Anyways you know my love of golds and beiges and here is just more proof that I am drawn to none other than all of these colors. I have a wedding to attend next weekend and I think I am going to order the gold pumps below to go with a dress I found at Franchesca's. I'll post the wedding look soon! 

Happy Tuesday all! And thank goodness for a short week. I am beyond ready for 5pm tomorrow! I just wanted to give you a little recap of my weekend. It was a great weekend, one filled with so much fun and friends and I am beginning to get in the hang of living back home and taking advantage of my weekends! 

1. Friday night I came home to find my Birchbox. If you aren't subscribed to Birchbox, you must try it out! It's only $10.00 a month and it is a sample filled box of goodies that arrives once a month on your doorstep. It definitely made a great start to my weekend! Check it out here. 

2. Chocolate chip pancakes are the best way to begin Saturday morning! My town is right on the east coast of Florida and we have the cutest little breakfast and brunch place in downtown. They serve the best breakfast! 

3. Just a morning stroll after breakfast with my good friend Jessica. It is amazing how beautiful of a town we live in and how blessed we are to be right on the water! 

4. Saturday night, I met a friend out at a local bar and was given a red rose by him! It was such a sweet gesture! 

5. There is no better day to shop than on Sunday. I always enjoy a good day of shopping especially with my momma. We went to the mall and I got the best deal on this dress! It is perfect for a New Year's Eve party...now just to find something to do for said evening! Again, I am in love with gold and cream so the combo on this dress is a STEAL for me! It is very light in material and almost has a ballerina look about it! 

6. After shopping, my mom and I stopped for lunch. I got a chicken salad stuffed tomato. Delicious! And I can't find a dressing similar to the one that is served with it but it is a orange sesame ginger dressing and it is so good. I love the combination of fruits and veggies in this salad! 

Looking forward to the end of this short work week and the beginning of Thanksgiving and family time as well as Black Friday! Do you do Black Friday? Around my house, it is a HUGE tradition. This year I am on the hunt for a good deal on a dining room table, more gold flats and a few small Christmas presents for friends!
