Oh hi! I wanted to wear something light today but comfortable and I really am in love with this cardigan. It is just so colorful and fun and really goes with everything. And this necklace. I bought it in two colors. Oh and seriously thanks to our South Florida weather, not even 5 minutes after these photos, it started to downpour. 

Now I had to search HIGH and LOW to find floral in my closet. I am very disappointed in myself for only owning once piece. Seriously..out of all my clothes...one piece?! Well, I had to make it work. I'm actually proud of myself today because I left the black pants at home and wait for it...wore grey! I KNOW - very different of me. Anyways, what do y'all think? It's a bit outside of my comfort zone with all of the colors but I like it! I think mixing the grey pants and beige heels helped mute the colors. But I do love how bright the cardigan sticks out in the photo below. It really isn't that bright in person. Cardigan is old from Target and shirt is old from Old Navy. Pants are my regular Sloan pants from Banana Republic and my absolute favorite shoes by Guess, the Carries! (I own them in seven colors!) 




Let the week go by fast pleaseee! I've got a hot country date on Friday with Chris Young and Brad Paisley! Woo hoo!

Let's catch up shall we? I really do believe we need another day after Sunday to prepare for the week ahead. I usually stay home on Sundays and try to prepare but none of the sort happened yesterday. Saturday was an errand day followed by a night out with friends. I spent Sunday as a date day. B and I went to the movies, did a little shopping and finished the day with dinner. It's hard to find a guy that will put up with my shopping habits, but I think he manages it quite well.

So here are a few of my favorite purchases from the weekend. Is it just me or do you like to have something new each week too? lol  Whether it's something like a new concealer or a necklace - something cheap or expensive - etc - I can't help myself.

So the shirt and necklaces are from Forever21, flats from Nine West, skinnies from Target and 10k gold pearls and Essie nail polish in Topless and Barefoot from Walmart.

I am a huge fan of bargain shopping and combined with coupons, gift cards and store deals - I got all of the below for about $100! I'm in LOVE.

I have a lot of black furniture in my house so I wanted to keep it consistent with the frame color. I'm not quite sure just yet where I will put this pretty little piece but I have a couple more things that I'd like to DIY too! I think DIY piece #1 was a success! What do you think?

No, no, definitely not my wedding. I am preparing for the wedding of one of my sweet cousins. Although I am going to have to go alone with my parents (B is working that night), it still calls for an amazing outfit and amazing shoes! I am still in the debating process of if I should wear a necklace or not. But here's what I got so far! 

You know the saying.. "You don't need it." Well I think you do. Go for it. Get it all. Okay, kidding because if I truly just went for it all I'd be living back at my moms in a teeny tiny room consumed of all my belongings..hoarder. But there are times that I just HAVE to have it. Don't you? Well if I had my way, I'd have all of the following things below that I am just lusting to have right now. But I must have self control because rent is due and if the new apartment comes through..then that means moving and moving costs money. Ah. Anyways you know my love of golds and beiges and here is just more proof that I am drawn to none other than all of these colors. I have a wedding to attend next weekend and I think I am going to order the gold pumps below to go with a dress I found at Franchesca's. I'll post the wedding look soon!
