Can you imagine the look on my face this morning when I randomly came across the Kate Spade surprise sale? Yeah. Shocked.
I know it is the holidays and we should be shopping for everyone else out there...and I will get to that in the next few days but I couldn't help but want to share some of the adorable deals from the sale. I'll take it all please.
I mean, TYPE as fast as you can and SCOOP up everything because these deals are amazing.
Shop the entire sale here.

The holiday season is right around the corner.
Wait, I think it's already here.
Anyways, when it comes to shopping for that special man in your life, you are left with so many options. Ha, just kidding.
But what is a safe option? A watch. But not just any watch. A really nice watch.
Like this one below. And if you are sentimental like me, possibly have the back of the watch engraved with something? I always wanted to do that.
Recently, I came across invaluable.com. It's a really neat site that acts as a bidding system for designer watches, but not just watches, jewelry too. After browsing the men's watch section here, I fell in love with this Rolex. I mean come on. I love how the colors are so deep and eye catching.
I put together an outfit that I think would truly compliment such a watch. I don't know about you but I usually put together my outfits around a statement piece, and let's be honest, men really should too. This is certainly a statement watch. You don't want to outshine the watch with the outfit. Casually sexy I think. Thoughts?
So like does..anyone want to find me a hottie to throw all of this on? Mmk, thanks.

Isn't that the saying or something like it? Well, indeed it was such a good idea. And to prove it, here are some pics that I got from the weekend.
I was there less than 48 hours but the amount of things that I accomplished made the entire trip worth it. Not only because of the people that experienced it with me, but that they helped make my trip even more memorable and put up with my "blogger" pics.
Let's see..
I explored Central Park. Those colors though! Ain't nothing like that in Florida y'all. Can I go back?
I went to the New York Public Library. You know..the place where Big and Carrie should have gotten married. smh.
I traveled the streets like a pro.
I took the train.
I hailed a cab.
I soaked up every minute of being in that City.
I love New York. I love the fact that I was surrounded by hundreds of thousands of people that were all going in different ways. And to me, that is complete and utter chaos and it just gets me.
Favorite quote of the weekend: "Who needs bigger bathrooms when you have bigger dreams?"
Amirite? (Just get ME a really big closet)

Oh why hello! It has been one heck of a week celebrating Fall, Halloween and the newest month, November!
I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked from my costume, but I think you will get what I was trying to accomplish from the ones below.
It all started with this little inspiration. I've always wanted to dress up as a flapper and one time in college, I quickly put together a black dress and a feather headband for a house party but I never actually went all out with hair and everything. So this year, I thought I'd go a la Great Gatsby and dress up as Daisy! The end result - I loved it.
So after some much needed "Pinteresting" and "Googling," I settled on finding a lace dress and lots of fun gold and silver accessories. Good thing was, most of this was already in my wardrobe.
I found the dress below at Forever21 for a mere $24.80 and scooped up the headband for $3.80. Oh, how I love Forever21. I then stopped at the craft store and picked up a few feathers that I later hot glued to the headband.
I watched a YouTube video on a simple updo style - this one and I am actually pleased at how it came out! It was definitely easy to do. I'm sure if I had given myself a little more time, I would have been able to perfect it better but regardless, it came out great! What do you think?
