You see what I just did there with the post title? Ha. Anyways mint is seriously everywhere I turn lately. I've invested in a few of the pieces below already but wouldn't mind adding the rest to my closet. 

Do you pair mint with creams and whites or do you get crazy and add more color? I play with my wardrobe very safely and don't mix too many colors - but I am thinking I may try to throw in some fun colorful pieces.

Let's catch up shall we? I really do believe we need another day after Sunday to prepare for the week ahead. I usually stay home on Sundays and try to prepare but none of the sort happened yesterday. Saturday was an errand day followed by a night out with friends. I spent Sunday as a date day. B and I went to the movies, did a little shopping and finished the day with dinner. It's hard to find a guy that will put up with my shopping habits, but I think he manages it quite well.

So here are a few of my favorite purchases from the weekend. Is it just me or do you like to have something new each week too? lol  Whether it's something like a new concealer or a necklace - something cheap or expensive - etc - I can't help myself.

So the shirt and necklaces are from Forever21, flats from Nine West, skinnies from Target and 10k gold pearls and Essie nail polish in Topless and Barefoot from Walmart.

I am a huge fan of bargain shopping and combined with coupons, gift cards and store deals - I got all of the below for about $100! I'm in LOVE.

I have a lot of black furniture in my house so I wanted to keep it consistent with the frame color. I'm not quite sure just yet where I will put this pretty little piece but I have a couple more things that I'd like to DIY too! I think DIY piece #1 was a success! What do you think?

Well hi there! I've been a pretty busy little gal these past few days. The weekend was a whirlwind and I am full swing kicking out the work week. On Tuesday, I worked remotely from Key Largo, FL. A few members of my company flew to work out some details with one of our clients. 

So I consider myself pretty low on the corporate ladder. I mean, I am only 23 years old and freshly out of college but there are some pretty neat perks being on the lower level - like for example... flying in a private plane! I mean I needed photos of the client and what better way than to just go there and take them myself, right? Well it just so happened that my company had to visit and they let me..little ol me go with them and ride shotgun in the private plane. OMG - I wanted to faint.





As for last weekend - it was pretty awesome! I went to my cousins wedding and it was simply beautiful. It was right on the river and we danced the whole night away. 

Here's a picture of me and my momma! Sorry for the sweaty face - sadly I didn't get any nice pictures. The wedding was outside and oh my was the humidity kicking! By the way, I swear I curled my hair for the wedding. It was straight as a board by nightfall! 





Anywho, I am pretty excited that tomorrow is Friday and I am ready for the weekend! It's my roomies birthday and we've got some fun things planned! 

So I am still in hopes of finding a home closer to work and with those hopes come visions and excitement. Here's a little bathroom inspiration I've had lately. I find that I usually get the best deals and score the cutest things when I am not really on the lookout for anything specific.  I usually just come upon it and buy little things here and there. I think I will begin looking for bathroom decor like the below. What do you think? And would you expect anything more than gold and cream from me? ;)

Oh, hey there Friday! Who else is with me when I say thank goodness! This has been one of those weeks and I never thought today would come! But alas, the weekend is here and with good intentions. I've got a jammed packed little weekend ahead and I couldn't be happier. 

No, no, definitely not my wedding. I am preparing for the wedding of one of my sweet cousins. Although I am going to have to go alone with my parents (B is working that night), it still calls for an amazing outfit and amazing shoes! I am still in the debating process of if I should wear a necklace or not. But here's what I got so far! 

Happy Monday! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Just in case you were wondering, mine was pretty great! A little recap, shall we?

1. I babysat for a friend Friday night. This little fella thought he could get away from me. Ha!
2. Fishtail Saturday! I spent the day at the beach and I am really starting to master the fishtail. I am pretty proud of myself.
3. Beach day essentials. I am loving my new fringe top. $19.99 at Charlotte Russe. #fabfind
4. I am in LOVE. New Ivanka Trump purse from TJ Maxx and for only $54.00. Another #fabfind. This purse makes me smile every time I look at it.
5. New phone case! It is simply adorable. "If you like it, then you should monogram it."
6. Manicure of the week. I seriously paint my nails every four to five days. This week's color is OPI Pink-ing of you.

You know the saying.. "You don't need it." Well I think you do. Go for it. Get it all. Okay, kidding because if I truly just went for it all I'd be living back at my moms in a teeny tiny room consumed of all my belongings..hoarder. But there are times that I just HAVE to have it. Don't you? Well if I had my way, I'd have all of the following things below that I am just lusting to have right now. But I must have self control because rent is due and if the new apartment comes through..then that means moving and moving costs money. Ah. Anyways you know my love of golds and beiges and here is just more proof that I am drawn to none other than all of these colors. I have a wedding to attend next weekend and I think I am going to order the gold pumps below to go with a dress I found at Franchesca's. I'll post the wedding look soon! 

Hey! I'm back again. For once, I have managed to blog twice in one week. This is exciting. But I have some exciting news, I think. So I have been browsing apartments and townhomes lately and I think I may have come across a cute little two bedroom apartment all to myself. What's the saying they say? Something like...don't put all your eggs in one basket? Oh well, I am and I am hoping the basket doesn't break because I am super excited about this little apartment. It wouldn't be mine until May but I can still dream of the things that I'd like to do to it - ha, sounds a bit creepy. Anyway, enjoy! I have been pinning like crazy lately. Here's some inspiration for my home office.

I really need to start blogging more. It's been over a month since I last posted. I know, I know, I need to get it under control.

Anywho, here's a little update on me. The house is coming along but has been put on a hault as I have recently been given an opportunity to advance in my company. Hopefully with said advancement comes increased pay and then I can look for a place closer to work. (The houses are a bit more money) So fingers crossed that this works out and I can start looking for something new.

As for the last month, I took some time off and went on a cruise which was probably the best thing I could of done. I really needed some time away. B and I enjoyed ourselves and met some great people! Don't you just love when you connect with strangers? Ha! In the end, we exchanged contact info and I am excited to have new friends in different states!

So Spring has sprung in these parts and I am really craving some color in my wardrobe. You all know how much I love cream, gold and black. I find it hard to stray from those colors because I love them so much. With that said here are a few lovely pieces that I am DROOLING over and would love to incorporate some of this into my current wardrobe.

I am really loving the colored pants and jeans right now - although I don't have any! I think I will be in search of some colored bottoms soon because these are just gorg.
