Not too much to report back this week other than a few small updates and a few more things added to the list!

Let me start by saying I tried on some wedding dresses last weekend! No, no, I did not find "the one" but it was definitely nice to get an idea of what fits my body and what certainly does not. It was interesting! I think I have narrowed down two styles that I really love and plan on heading to some more boutiques soon. I'll keep you posted.

Over the weekend, we also spent time diying for our upcoming I DO BBQ! Seriously, some of the stuff is almost too cute to post! I realized throughout this process that I am actually in love with farmhouse decor and that's why our wedding theme has been somewhat rustic, so moving forward, we will be transitioning our coastal home to also consist of any and everything farmhouse. ha! Oh and I did manage to get Z's shirt ordered for the BBQ, as well as finalize some party favors. I don't want to ruin anything for my guests but here are some teasers...


I've started to carry my Kate Spade wedding planner everywhere. Yep, I am officially THAT bride. So what. 

A few weeks ago, I picked up these Old Navy gingham shorts on a whim (they were $6 on clearance) and seriously they are so cute and comfy.

I put them to the test over the weekend, pairing them with a navy peplum, floppy hat and white sandals. Ignore the wavy hair, I swear it was curled before this Florida heat got at it. It was the perfect Sunday attire for running errands and grabbing dinner with friends.

Hi everyone! I hinted at this last week about how I plan to start posting wedding updates every Wednesday or every other Wednesday until the big day arrives. We have finally made some headway and I am so excited to share that we have booked our venue and finalized our date! We decided to go with Endless Summer Vineyard & Winery, a local winery near us. I am so excited, I can't stand it! May 2017 can't come quick enough!

Spilling a few things that I can't live without in my makeup bag this week. I must tell you that for the past year, I have been a huge fan of all things Benefit Cosmetics. From the concealer to foundation to the bronzer! I really just love their brand.
