Happy St. Patrick's Day friends! I don't know about y'all but I am feeling pretty lucky (and grateful) these days. And with that, I thought I'd bring to you some of my favorite green accessories to spruce up your Thursday. How much fun are all of these green goodies perfect for such a day?! Now typically, I stick to a pretty neutral color palette but from time to time I enjoy throwing in color for a perky update.

I am all about spring lately and am finding myself attracted to brighter colors and patterns as we transition into our spring and summer months.

I am loving the subtle hints of green and gold in all things. And these heels! To. Die. For.

Spring is definitely in the air! Over the weekend, I finally brought out the white shorts for a day out on the town and it was so worth it. Paired with an adorable embellished blouse, an easy fishtail braid, and tan flip flops, Z and I spent the day running errands, grabbing lunch and organizing the house. To be honest, I have never received so many compliments on a blouse than I have on this one. I got it a few years back at the J. Crew Outlet and since then have never been able to find something like it, especially for a reasonable price! It is even perfect for layering under a sweater during the cooler months.

So let's get to the fun part of this outfit. I am a true fan of Fossil and I was over the moon excited to get this beauty in the mail last week! It is so versatile! The classic face, the stamped numerals, the day of the week window, oh my! Ah, I am just in love. It also comes in other colors - blush pink and mint green. Perfect colors for Spring! I'll take them both.

Y'all. The Oscars may be over but I am still on cloud nine from attempting (and in my books somewhat succeeding) to show off my inner diva this past weekend in a ball gown. There is just something about getting all dolled up that makes my heart jump with joy! And this weekend was one of those weekends. We had the pleasure of attending Zach's Firefighters Ball. What is the first thing that pops into your head when you hear ball? BALL GOWN. Yasss. As soon as I found out we were attending, I went on the hunt for such a gown.

A few weeks ago, I got lucky and picked up this pretty number by Adrianna Papell. And let me tell you, I felt like a princess in it! I opted to go super light on the accessories, because the dress is just so beautiful. As for makeup, this lipstick made by Bite Beauty was perfection. I received it a few weeks back from Influenster as a sample and it is by far my new favorite color. It glides on with perfection and really lasted almost all night! (That is until I stuffed my face at the ball) The color is called "Pepper" and it is a really pretty mauve/dusty rose color. I definitely recommend trying if you are searching for a new lipstick.

Ps. It definitely pays to have friends in the hair and photo biz. After a quick trip to the salon for an adorable low bun, Zach and I headed out west for a quick photoshoot before the ball. I cannot wait to get the photos back! In the meantime, some iPhone pics will just have to do.
