Over the weekend, a few girlfriends and I headed out to lunch and a jewelry trunk show. This was the perfect outfit for such a day. This top is so light and comfortable and the jeans are one of my favorite staple pieces in my closet. I just got the new crossbody from Spartina and the colors are stunning. Perfect bag for a day of running around. And you know, I love anything monogrammed. I have a feeling I will be wearing this necklace a lot in the near future.

You guys, I have always loved this dress. It's from The Limited and I bought it in blue and purple a few years back. It is possibly the most perfect shift dress there ever was and it has pockets! This week, I wanted to take a different approach to a work outfit, so I paired it with some teal accessories. I usually try to stay in neutral colors with outfits when it comes to work but I was in need of something bright this week!

I recently got this Trend Tribe Skye necklace in the mail and knew it would be the perfect piece to

complete the ensemble. I am also loving this, these earrings and omg, this necklace.

This dress is an older style from The Limited but I did find a very similar option at Nordstrom AND it comes in 12 different colors! Topped off with a monogram clutch, gold bangles and the prettiest teal pumps, and voila, a very bright and fun ootd.

Work Wear: A Twist on the Typical Black Dress

When it comes to work, dresses are definitely my go-to these days and with it being close to nearly 100 degrees here in South Florida, nothing beats the heat like a sleeveless dress.

I picked up this adorable dress a few weeks ago at Target and couldn't resist the urge to share. The material is light and breezy and it just hugs in all the right places. And for $29.99, I mean it was practically a steal!

Sadly, I haven't been able to find this exact dress online, but I've linked a few similar options above. It is the Mossimo brand and I wish I would have bought it in every color!

Back at it this week and linking up with Walking in Memphis in High Heels and The Fashion Canvas to bring you an adorable linkup featuring summer dresses.

Now I typically wear dresses on a day-to-day basis as I spend a lot of time traveling for work. It is easier to throw on a dress than worry about a complete outfit which could include pants, blouse, blazer, tank, etc.

I took this linkup as an opportunity to explore a more casual #ootd for the office and wear a Summer dress. I received so many compliments on the color and it is extremely versatile, making it easy to pair with a jean jacket, blazer, heels, flats, you name it.

This could easily become one of my favorite work outfits for the Summer!

Beach style: Rompers

Spotted this knit romper recently at Forever 21 and knew it would be the perfect cover-up for beach and boat days! It comes in tons of colors and fits like a glove. Ps. It's also on sale for $10.32!

We took the boat out on Sunday so I had Ryan snap a few pics before heading out. I also tried out the new Sally Hansen Miracle Gel in "Sugar Fix" and I am really impressed! The blue color is so perfect for Summer. I immediately fell in love so I matched it to a new VS bathing suit and made another diy bracelet to top off the outfit!
