I know a lot of you were just so curious to see what came in this month's Bride Box, that I figured I'd feature it below! A big thank you to all at The Bride Box for my generous box!

Just in case you don't know what this little box of goodies is, here's the 411. The Bride Box is a monthly subscription for future brides that consists of a box full of gifts to help you plan, prepare and pamper for your day of bridal bliss. Have I peaked your interest? You can subscribe here.
Enjoy a few photos of what I received in my August box! It comes all wrapped up adorably and delivered right to your front door. If this doesn't make you excited, I don't know what will.
Inside of the box, a sweet reminder is found. "You're Engaged!" BRB, swooning.
This notepad is my favorite thing in this box! I am constantly jotting down ideas and reminders for our upcoming wedding. It is the perfect size and has made a home right on my office desk.

First things first, let me start by saying, a year ago today I agreed to meet a friend's brother for coffee. Who knew that we'd be where we are today with so many memories already made.
Happy Anniversary to my favorite person in the world. I love you Z.
Moving on from the sappy love shoutout - I SAID YES to the dress! Ah!! I am SO excited! Yes, that's a photo of it below but all I will tell you in that it is from my all time favorite Wedding Shop, BHLDN, Anthropologie's wedding line. When searching for a dress, a big worry of mine was that I'd find something that was stiff, itchy, and just too bridal for me. After a few dresses, I found one that really feels great on and that I feel absolutely beautiful in!
Ps. You know that it has to be something I can dance in. Ha!

Oh and the adorable monogrammed garment bag it's in? It is the perfect place to store my dress until the big day. Thanks to my girl Amy over at SewPeepsBoutique. Check her out!
Also, sorry not sorry that I continue to geek out about this whole engagement. All chances of me being cool as a cucumber during this process disappeared faster than the first half of my wedding budget. Ha! Which brings us to the next item on the agenda for today.
I received this adorable box last week from The Bride Box and it was the perfect Thursday pick-me-up! Seriously just love getting goodies in the mail especially if they are wedding related. Ps. A full Bride Box review is coming up later this week. Stay tuned.

Happy Monday! I literally spotted this top and crossbody clutch within 5 minutes of being in Francesca's a few weeks back and knew that they both had to be mine. The top has the cutest tassels down the center of the shirt and around the sleeves and it sits so nicely on the shoulders. I paired both the shirt and floral clutch together with a pair of jeans over the weekend for the perfect #ootd out on the town with my main squeeze. Thanks to my girl Christina over at Dee's Salon for my sweet braided updo! It kept me cool all night long especially with his summer heat.
Oh and currently all tops are 25% off today online and in stores!

I am so excited to share with you all, a glimpse into our I Do BBQ complete with a mix of rustic country chic and garden party! My mom seriously outdid herself with the decor and it turned out beautifully.

My future MIL pitched in with her expert baking skills too and cooked us up some eye-catching and mouth-watering cupcakes and cookies - seriously almost too cute to eat! Tied with a cute little jute bow, these mason jars cookies stole the show!
Our guests received favors including coozies, mini mason jars filled with sweet BBQ sauce and the prettiest mason jar cookies. The traditional BBQ flair was served including bullet pork, mac and cheese, and cole slaw.
It took weeks to plan something so sweet and simple, and it honestly went by way too fast! I wish I could have enjoyed our guests more but we made the best of it.
Thanks to all who braved the heat (August in Florida in NO joke) and for all who made our engagement party so special. Enjoy a few pics from our day.

My Matron and Maid of Honor said yes, of course! Sharing a little sneak peek into how I asked my two very best friends to share in Zach and I's special day next year.
With some help from a few fabulous Etsy friends and my crafty future MIL, these boxes turned out beautifully!

We are making some progress this week! (only 297 days to go LOL) We picked our main wedding color, started to ask our bridal party (more on that next week), and now are in the works of finalizing some vendors. Things are happening people!
First things first, our proposal story was published on How He Asked! You can see more of ours here. Seriously, it was so much fun to write about our little love story and I hope you all enjoy it.

How adorable is this vintage initial ring box?! Ps. This may or may not contain our main wedding color. Wink wink.
I'm really loving these hangers as bridal gifts for the big day! What do you think?
My best friend flies in this weekend for our engagement party and I am SO looking forward to a weekend full of fun with our family and friends!

Can you believe it's already August? Oh, how time flies. I am looking forward to so many exciting events this month from our engagement party this weekend to our one year anniversary getaway at the end of the month! Eek!
To celebrate the end of July, I'm sharing a few of my favorite Instagram posts from last month below.
So where to begin - oh we had a housewarming party and my future MIL made us the sweetest little house cookies. Check out more of her work here.
We picked a wedding venue! This was SO exciting! And this Kate Spade wedding planner is just the cutest!

I started a new job - this is very exciting as well! Back to an old stomping ground and it feels pretty good.
We spent time in our favorite place for a few days in the Florida Keys. PS. Loving these Luca & Danni bangles! The Florida one is going to be a hit this Fall.
Shared one of my favorite looks so far! Gingham shorts are everything.
