Happy hump day to all! Today I bring you a trend spin linkup with Walking in Memphis in High Heels and this week's theme is florals!

I had a lot of fun with this outfit. Little do you know that the red top is actually a dress. Stay tuned for more outfit posts using this staple piece. It really is the perfect little red dress.

I think it is important to reuse staple pieces in your wardrobe and it allows you to wear things differently. I spiced up the dress a bit by adding an adorable floral skirt and lots of jewelry. What do you think? And how pretty are those flowers?

So in efforts to link up, I wore the emerald green pants again except this time I matched them with this tie-dye scarf and my new year's eve earrings.

It's a bit chillier these days in South Florida, can you believe it? So I threw on some cute booties and a matching blazer. Definitely in love with this outfit. Isn't it so weird when you find something in your closet that you haven't worn in a year and fall right back in love with it. Yep. That's how I feel about the booties. AND they are from Target. The blazer too. Thoughts?

I seriously can't believe that it's already September and tomorrow is Wednesday. I mean wow the weekend flew by so fast but yay to a short week! As soon as I learned it was lace, I immediately thought of a blouse I bought a few months back that has some delicate lace at the top! I paired it with a big statement necklace (Go GroopDealz!) and some classic grey dress pants for work. Take a look!

Today's theme is cobalt! I actually own a few pieces in this color but I was mostly excited to bring out a dress that I bought last year (shame on me) that STILL had the tags on it. I know I can't be the only one who does that? You know, goes shopping, buys a lot of stuff and then never wears it? lol Well I am happy that I actually got to get some use out of this dress and it's perfect for game day with a big chunky orange necklace since I actually plan to head up to some games this year! (Go Gata!) 

Hi there! It feels like it has been forever since I've blogged and it has been one heck of a weekend! Well let me just tell you that I had no problem at all coming up with an outfit for this week. I think pretty much everything I own has a bow on it. I mean what doesn't look great with a bow? Men in bowties, babies in bows, but seriously I love bows. From jewelry to shoes and shirts to cardigans and even belts, I own all sorts of bows! Bows mean business, y'all.

So I must confess that I really do not have a lot of patterns in my closet. For someone who has three closets, this seems impossible, but it's true. I have like five things. All of which have been featured already on this blog. However, I did forget that I had an Ann Taylor pencil skirt that I bought many moons ago that had only been worn once or twice. So I brought that little sucker out for a stroll below!

Now I had to search HIGH and LOW to find floral in my closet. I am very disappointed in myself for only owning once piece. Seriously..out of all my clothes...one piece?! Well, I had to make it work. I'm actually proud of myself today because I left the black pants at home and wait for it...wore grey! I KNOW - very different of me. Anyways, what do y'all think? It's a bit outside of my comfort zone with all of the colors but I like it! I think mixing the grey pants and beige heels helped mute the colors. But I do love how bright the cardigan sticks out in the photo below. It really isn't that bright in person. Cardigan is old from Target and shirt is old from Old Navy. Pants are my regular Sloan pants from Banana Republic and my absolute favorite shoes by Guess, the Carries! (I own them in seven colors!) 




Let the week go by fast pleaseee! I've got a hot country date on Friday with Chris Young and Brad Paisley! Woo hoo!

So excited to link up with Walking in Memphis in High Heels again for Trend Spin Linkup this week! It's all about neon today. 

I took a different approach with the neon trend. As you might all be well aware, I am a huge fan of neutrals. Yep. I know it comes as a surprise..haha. But I found this cardigan on sale at Target (sadly it's not on sale online though) I paired it with a cream blouse, black pants (my go-to for work) and some fun gold and neutral pointy toe pumps (TJ Maxx). What do you think? The cardigan is much brighter in person like a coral neon color.
